Let’s head to Pennyslvania for this week’s featured owner and location, AR Workshop Malvern! AR Workshop offers a hands-on DIY Workshop experience, where you can create wood signs, canvas pillows, wall hangings, framed signs, wood boxes, lazy susans and more!   AR Workshop Malvern is owned by Morgan and her husband, Craig Macedo. They are the parents of 7 children and are big sports fans, with their go-to sport being soccer. Their business is a true family business. Morgan’s stepdad and step grandfather cut most of the wood used in the workshop. Her husband helps with picking up supplies and delivering wood and paint in addition to doing any of the heavy lifting on his days off from managing a restaurant. The sample signs on display in the workshop have been made by Morgan as well as her mom, sister, cousins and aunts! Even the oldest Macedo children help out

AR Workshop Wasilla Open in AK

In November 2021, AR Workshop Wasilla opened in Alaska.  Located at at 619 S. Knik-Goose Bay Road, this new workshop celebrated with a grand opening, and hundreds of people came to check out what this DIY workshop was all about! AR Workshop Wasilla is owned by Janina Fuller. After attending a workshop, Janina was excited to bring DIY to her area! It’s the perfect place for gathering with friends and family, especially during the long cold winter months.
