We are excited to introduce you to the owner of AR Workshop Robinson, Jennifer Boston. After graduating from Appalachian State University with a B.S. in Psychology and Child Development, Jennifer’s first job was as a nanny. When she had children of her own she remained a nanny but started working overnights so she could be home with her own children during the day. Jennifer wandered into the DIY Workshop industry as a creative outlet and immediately fell in love. When AR Workshop came to Pittsburgh she knew she had to be involved. Hired as the shop manager, Jennifer quickly knew she had found her dream job! Two years later, the owners of the Robinson location decided to sell the business, and it was a natural step from manager to owner. Every day Jennifer is reminded that she is in the right place whether that’s because of a happy guest’s gushing appreciation, the smile of pride on the face of someone in love with their project, or the excitement pouring out of someone who just booked a workshop and can’t wait to come in!
